Mind Wide Open entry

My first challenge entry to Gail's Mind Wide Open blog. Below is the image she gives you to create something with. Your imagination is your only limit! Gail gave everyone the entire month of November to create, so this time I felt there was plenty of time to be "challenged"

I tinted the image with a bit of I yellow and printed it out on fabric. I used bits and pieces of vintage crochet, lace, and vintage jewelry and buttons to surround the image. Lots and lots of vintage crochet and big ruffles and voila~a gorgeous Victorian cottage pillow~

I listed this on my website and sold it to a customer in the United Kingdom within 24hrs!

UPDATE DECEMBER 10th---I can't believe it--I WON this challenge! I feel so blessed to have been included among so many other talented artists!
